JJ Tan (Tan Zen), a Singaporean, is a very gifted artist who has exhibited his paintings in cultural art centres and educational institutions in Taiwan. He specializes in painting flowers in acrylic on canvas. Many of his works have been sold to corporate clients, trade associations, art collectors and government institutions.
In 2015, The Mayor of Kaohsiung, Taiwan, Madam Chen Chu attended his exhibition and collected one of his painting.Collectors from Dubai have also collected his paintings. In May 2017, JJ Tan held a very successful solo art exhibition entitled “ World of Flowers” at the Gangshan Cultural Art Centre in Kaohsiung. Proceeds from the sale of his paintings had been donated to many charities. In September 2018, his paintings will be exhibited at the Arts House in Singapore. |

Special thanks to Mr Yip Wei Kiat the Trade Representative of the Singapore Trade Office in Taipei, for inviting us to dine at Grand Hyatt Taipei.Artist JJ Tan also presented his painting to show his sincerity. The painting depicts impression of images of armed forces and the home team against the backdrop of the Singapore flag which the artist visualises from his memories of the many National Day Parades in Singapore which he enjoyed watching.
